An Adult Education magazine that is made by and for Adult Education learners. SDE in CT has a subscription available for all teachers to have access to entire issues, recordings, full lessons, and other resources available to use in the classroom. Change Agent also gives the opportunity to Adult Education students to publish articles.

The Digital Learn website focuses on digital skills needed from day-to-day activities to job searching. Each course includes the number of activities, an estimated time of completion, a short description of the course along with the learning target, and a level recommendation to prompt users with the digital skill level required to complete the course.

Edpuzzle | Online Resource | Website
Edpuzzle allows teachers to add videos and assign questions at different points. Teachers can find video lessons already created in EdPuzzle or use YouTube to find the video and embed questions at specific times. Teachers can monitor student progress, check for comprehension, and prevent students from skipping the video.

The Goodwill Community Foundation (GCF), has an array of courses that span different topics. Some topics include Technology, Work, Core Skills, Reading and Math, and much more. Their lessons include videos and tutorials that scaffold the content and skills presented in the lesson.

Google Applied Digital Skills helps build skills needed in day-to-day activities for college and career opportunities. The program teaches through more than 100 interactive video lessons. Nearpod offers ready-to-use lessons or you can create your own/ They have also partnered with different companies to provide lessons and videos that you can use for your classes.

A collection of articles can be scaled by lexile levels to accommodate different reading levels. Articles include quizzes that assess comprehension. Newsela can integrate with Google Classroom, CANVAS, and other resources.
Readworks | Online Resource | Website
A website that includes a variety of literature for students in and out of the classroom. Each reading includes comprehension, text-dependent, and short answer questions for students to complete. A few things you can find in each story are the lexile level, word count, and a recording of the story for readers to follow.

Social Media TestDrive is a website that provides a simulated social media environment to prepare users for the online world. Each module provided on this website includes a simulated experience of realistic digital dilemmas and scenarios, along with key concepts and strategies for navigating them.

Marshall Reading Program | Online Resource | Website
A toolkit that was created by Adult educators. The program focuses on providing opportunities to practice vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension. The selection of stories can be sorted by reading levels or topics. The toolkit uses Quizlet, the Reading Skills 4 Today website, and Google Forms to practice and develop the skills.

A website from Southwest Adult Basic Education of compiled stories that are grouped by reading levels. Each selection has downloadable documents that include: pre and post-questions, supplemental activities, and the story. They also have recordings that assist in developing fluency, as well as a timer for students to practice.

USA Learns is a free website that helps adults learn English online for free. This popular website teaches English by providing engaging videos and educational activities. Learners can learn English independently or with the support of their instructor.

It is an Adult Education website that offers contextualized video lessons and resources. It presents different students with their career goals and offers lessons that develop the skills required in the field. The videos are organized by content area and are offered in both English and Spanish.

O*NET OnLine | Online Resource | Website
The O*NET Program is the nation's primary source of occupational information. It contains detailed descriptions of the world of work for use by job seekers, workforce development and HR professionals, students, researchers, and more! The My Next Move section is tailored to assist student search, browsing, or suggesting careers that match students interests and training.

This program offers a library of resources available for both teachers and students. Lessons can be searched by grade levels or topics. Each lesson can include a combination of literature, video, practice, assessments, and other tools. Integrations with Google Classroom and other learning management systems are available.

GED Math Prep | Online Resource | Website
This app was created by the Florida Literacy Coalition in partnership with CrowdEd Learning. The videos used in this app are from Khan Academy and can be searched by units or skills. Students can track their work by marking them as complete and adding any notes for the videos they watched. Completed videos will populate the completed tabs.

A free video discussion app that provides a safe, accessible space where students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can explore new ideas, connect with others, get creative, and contribute to meaningful discussions.

This program works as a whiteboard/bulletin board in the classroom. Users can work individually or in groups to answer questions, prepare graphs, and other interactive activities. Users can save their work as an image and then upload it to Google Classroom.

An application that uses the phone's camera as an input for Google's search. It can look up pictures, recognize text, and other features.

Google Voice allows you to make phone calls and text using a number provided by Google. You can set voicemail, and receive call alerts through email and other features.
Hemingway Editor | Classroom Tool | Website
The Hemingway Editor is a website and app that checks for writing style. The editor highlights passive voice, complex sentences, and more to identify the reading level of the text. Teachers can use the editor to highlight what parts of a text may be challenging for students and use the editor as a tool for teachers and students when writing instructions, open-ended questions, and more.

A website that allows you to generate QR codes to open a wide variety of digital resources or media. This will allow phones or other computing devices to scan the code and open websites, documents, play media, prefilled emails, and other types of digital literature.

It's a two-way based communication program that allows teachers to communicate with students via text or their app. They have a paid version that offers more features like translation and making phone calls.
Screencastify | Classroom Tool | Website
Screencastify is a Chrome extension that allows screen recording through Chrome. Videos can save directly into Google Drive which makes them easy to access and/or post in Google Classroom or they can be downloaded to your local computer. Other features like annotating and video editing are also available.
Talking Points | Communication Tool | Website
It's a two-way based communication program that allows teachers to communicate with students via text and/or messaging through the app. AI and human translation are available for free in 100+ languages. The interface is very intuitive and the app is easy to use. Changing the language and translations are simple and can be switched in both the teacher's and students' profiles.
