About the Digital Learning Plan
The Digital Learning Plan is designed to provide guided support across key areas that bridge gaps in the digital divide. Each component of this plan is structured to be followed progressively, yet it is also flexible enough to function independently, enabling agencies and staff to address specific needs within the communities they serve.
The content in each section will be released according to the scheduled timeline throughout the year.
01
Ensuring equal access to devices, the internet, and digital literacy skills empowers adult learners to participate fully in community activities. This section guides digital opportunity and accessibility to help agencies and staff create these opportunities for adult learners.
02
Mastering the use of available technology and developing safe, effective practices are key skills for lifelong learning. This section offers an overview of the digital skills needed for technological proficiency, featuring frameworks, scenario-based skills, and resources that support digital literacy development.
03
Effective use and transferability of skills when using technology require a solid foundation of practices and skills development. This section helps agencies and staff align digital literacy practices with the goals of both the agency and learners, supporting skill transfer across various scenarios.
04
Digital resilience involves troubleshooting tech problems when technology doesn’t work as intended. This section supports agencies in developing policies and procedures to bridge gaps in technology and skills, helping learners become more self-reliant as they strengthen their digital competencies.
