Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We are very excited to begin our second year exploring technology and continuing to share ways to implement technology within Adult Education agencies in Connecticut. I want to begin this newsletter with a quote from Charles Eames:
"Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose."
As education practitioners, we create activities, support systems, accessibility for students, and much more. Our designs are completed once we see our students reach the goals set, from developing English skills and getting their high school diploma, to going to college or getting hired for a new job. The beauty of education is that we can assist students in bridging any gaps and empowering them with the skills to succeed. As we continue as educators in this new school year, let's focus on being intentional with what we teach our students, so that each step taken takes them closer to reaching their goals as adult learners.

Tech Grant Updates: Be in the know about what's happening with Digital ATDN, from new projects to PDs and tech tools.
Resource Spotlight: Each month, read about a featured program and learn ways you can use it in your classroom or agency.
Tech Strategies: Explore implementation strategies and skills using technology in your agency.
Thank you. I am looking forward to "Digital ATDN". Suggestion: Establish a social media tag, for example #adultedct or the like and promote the use of it among the programs. Establish a few social media templates for adult ed in CT. I am not sure if this is within your vision but believe this would be a great way for the programs to share things going on in their programs.
This looks great, I am looking forward to this school session's first PD session!
